Roblox is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the team building the data foundation that makes advertising on Roblox possible — turning raw signal into trustworthy, privacy-safe, actionable data across five connected domains: core data infrastructure, identity, measurement, audience targeting, and feature engineering for ML. • 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years managing engineers, including hiring and performance management. • Experience delivering large-scale distributed data systems, data pipelines, streaming/batch processing, and data stores handling high volume and low latency. • Strong foundation in at least one of: identity resolution, ad measurement/attribution, audience targeting/segmentation, or feature/data pipelines for ML. • Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and successfully lead teams through ambiguity. • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. • Working knowledge of data privacy principles and regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA) and a genuine commitment to building privacy-safe systems.
