Director, Customer Engineering

Elastic is seeking a Director of Customer Engineering, ideally located in the Eastern timezone of the United States, to lead the customer architect team across multiple territories. This leadership position requires a unique blend of people-focused, business-driven, and technically-savvy leadership. The Director will lead all aspects of a high-performing team of Customer Architects, serving as the technical pillar of leadership for Elastic's Observability, Cybersecurity, and Search AI solutions. The role requires 25% travel across the Americas.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (highly preferred) • Proven experience leading customer-facing technical teams centered on consumption • Technical expertise in distributed datastores and areas such as observability, cybersecurity, or search • Experience with Vectors, Machine Learning, and GenAI is an added advantage • Ability to travel 25% across the Americas
