Senior Engineering Manager, Safety Platform

Roblox is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering pods within the Safety Platform organization, driving the technical vision and execution for the foundational systems that power every safety workflow at Roblox. The scope includes core safety platform end-to-end: shared infrastructure and APIs, tooling ecosystem for internal operators, and the Safety agentic platform — AI-powered systems that automate and augment safety workflows across detection, enforcement, and review pipelines. Hybrid in San Mateo, CA. Salary: $345,040–$399,420 USD.

• Demonstrated experience as a leader of successful engineering teams responsible for building new product or platform features. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to deconstruct complex challenges into manageable components, coupled with project management skills to drive projects to successful completion. • A long-term strategic perspective, balanced with the practical ability to implement timely, short-term solutions to launch systems and gather user feedback. • Experience developing consumer-facing applications, supported by a strong platform-thinking mindset.
