Senior Engineering Manager, Twilio's Conversational Agents

Twilio is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Agent Implementations team within the Conversational Agents Organization. The team is responsible for building and operating best-in-class agents that power Twilio's own business workflows, spearheading Twilio's internal AI transformation. The role leads the engineering strategy and execution for enabling customer AI agents to securely and reliably consume Twilio platform capabilities. Remote US (not eligible for SF Bay Area). Salary: $207,200–$304,600 USD depending on location.

• 5+ years hands-on experience as an engineer writing production-grade code in a modern programming language. • 3+ years of experience directly supervising teams of engineers across different disciplines. • Experience fostering a culture of technical excellence and guiding a team through technical design decisions. • Proven track record of shipping products to production, testing ideas early with customers and iterating rapidly on their feedback. • Strong customer focus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Passion for emerging technologies and staying up to date on their latest developments. • Desired: experience building a product from idea to product market fit; experience leading the development of products or features that leverage LLMs.
