Senior Software Engineer Level 1

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Level 1 to join our growing engineering team. You will build features that impact thousands of job seekers and employers while working alongside talented engineers in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features • Troubleshoot and debug production issues on AWS • Contribute to technical documentation • Explore Claude AI solutions to enhance platform capabilities Technical Requirements: • 4-6 years of professional software development experience • Solid proficiency in Node.js with Express.js and TypeScript • Experience with Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM • Understanding of RESTful API design principles • Familiarity with AWS services, Git, and CI/CD workflows • Interest in AI technologies (Claude AI/Anthropic SDK) Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication and teamwork abilities • Eagerness to learn and grow technically • Attention to detail and code quality
