Forward Deployed Engineer, v0

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Vercel for the v0 product, you'll own end-to-end implementations with enterprise customers from kickoff through production. You'll understand customer pain points, translate them into product solutions, and build internal tools for efficiency. You'll be a daily practitioner of AI-assisted development using v0, Cursor, Claude, and Codex. Remote - United States. Salary: $126,000–$188,000 USD.

Core Qualifications • Power user of AI coding tools — you use v0, Cursor, Claude, Codex, or equivalent daily • Proficient in Next.js, React, and TypeScript; comfortable working directly in a production codebase • Experience in a GTM-adjacent engineering role (Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer) • Experience working directly with enterprise customers: running discovery, building trust, re-engaging at-risk accounts • Willingness to travel to customer sites regularly • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving environment Bonus Points • Enterprise integration work: SSO, account provisioning, RBAC • Data skills: comfortable writing SQL to understand customer health and usage trends • Familiarity with access control models like RBAC, ABAC, and ReBAC • Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform)
