Senior Systems Engineering Manager, Corporate IT

Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Manager, Corporate IT to lead and scale a high-impact engineering team responsible for the SaaS systems, identity and access management, endpoint management, and infrastructure powering Klaviyo's global operations. The role manages a team of engineers — and as the team grows, managers of engineers — setting organizational and technical direction for the group. The manager will build team structure, develop engineering leaders, and drive engineering excellence across the IT Systems organization, all while partnering closely with senior stakeholders. Reports to the Director of Global IT. Hybrid in Boston, MA (3 days/week). Salary: $144,000–$216,000 USD.

• 5+ years of IT or systems engineering experience, with 3+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role at a high-growth technology company. • Proven track record of building, scaling, and leading high-performing IT engineering teams. • Strong technical foundation across enterprise IT domains — SaaS systems administration, identity and access management (Okta or similar), endpoint management (Jamf, Intune), and enterprise networking. • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize work, and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with business goals. • Demonstrated ability to set technical strategy and drive engineering excellence across multiple IT domains simultaneously. • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Experience with vendor management, SaaS lifecycle management, and IT budget ownership.
