Senior Engineering Manager

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for its Billing Engineering Team, which builds and maintains critical systems for billing, payments, usage metering, aggregation, invoicing and revenue recognition — powering billions in revenue and serving millions of customers. • Experience leading a team or multiple teams of senior and staff engineers. • Experience working with cross-functional teams, driving alignment, and clearly creating and communicating technical direction for large cross-company efforts. • Comfortable leading and hiring a team that builds backend systems and frontend parts of the product. • Excel at planning, creating teams and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability. • Comfortable building developer-loved APIs that scale. • Demonstrate a track record of leading a team including hiring, on-boarding, and professional development. • Bonus: experience building massive distributed systems; experience leading teams working on areas of financial infrastructure, payments, billing, and data infrastructure.
