VP Engineering

Bombora (the true B2B data pioneer) is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to drive the implementation and operation of the product vision and lead multiple technical organizations including Software Engineering, Data Engineering, and Analytics. The VP reports to the CTO and works in lockstep with the VP of Architecture, SVP of Data Science, and Product Management team. The role is a critical contributor to Bombora's success. New York NY, Reno NV, or Remote US. Salary: $260,000–$320,000 USD (base and bonus).

• 10 or more years of experience leading technical teams, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Experience in the ad-tech industry and its related technologies would be a big plus, as would other business domains involving very highly scaled data management systems. • Extensive experience collaborating with Product Management, Go-To-Market, and Success teams to achieve holistic goals for customers. • Strong proficiency with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern development frameworks for software development, data management, testing, DevOps, and security concepts. • Extensive experience practicing, adapting, and evolving development methodologies to optimize velocity, quality, and team health. • Excellent communication skills with a focus on bringing out the best in people in a highly distributed workforce environment. • Experience with organizational development, planning, and budgeting processes.
