Senior Engineering Manager, Global Growth

Lyft is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Luxury team (Black, Black SUV, and other upmarket modes) — building app experiences, UIs, and infrastructure where quality is uncompromising. The manager sets the technical direction for the team, making tradeoffs between technical investments and product work, and communicating strategy to the team and leadership. Acts as a critical technical leader across backend, frontend, iOS, and Android. Hybrid in San Francisco, CA (Mon/Wed/Thu in-office). Salary: $208,000–$280,000 USD.

• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams of 20+ members, as well as experience in managing managers. Able to contribute to planning and design discussions. • Experience building trust to lead a team of engineers and guiding them through their career development, including growing managers and staff engineers. • You believe in building both teams and products that scale.
