Applied AI Architect, Government Technology

About the Role As an Applied AI team member at Anthropic, you will be a Pre-Sales architect focused on becoming a trusted technical advisor helping systems integrators, startups, and GovTech companies understand the value of Claude and how to successfully integrate and deploy it into their technology stack. Responsibilities: • Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions • Serve as the primary technical advisor to enterprise customers throughout their Claude adoption journey • Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise • Create and deliver compelling technical content for diverse audiences • Guide technical architecture decisions and help customers integrate Claude into existing technology stacks • Help customers develop evaluation frameworks for their specific use cases • Travel frequently to customer sites for workshops and relationship building

• US Secret Clearance preferred for working with defense tech customers • Prior work in government, government contracting, or government tech preferred • 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager • Experience navigating complex buying cycles involving multiple stakeholders • Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders including C-suite executives and engineering teams • Strong technical communication skills • Proficiency in Python and/or other programming languages relevant to AI/ML
