• Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field, plus 7 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer or similar role involving design, development, and oversight of large-scale data systems, distributed data platforms, or event-driven architectures. • 5 years of professional experience leading the technical design and implementation of scalable, high-throughput data systems or event-driven architectures. • 5 years of professional experience utilizing programming languages for backend or data engineering (Java, Python, or Go) and build and dependency management tools to develop, test, and deploy distributed systems or data platforms. • 5 years of professional experience architecting, building, and maintaining production data models and pipelines including relational and non-relational databases, dimensional modeling, and distributed ETL or workflow orchestration systems. • 5 years of professional experience performing large-scale data processing using distributed computing and data storage technologies. • 5 years of professional experience utilizing cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to design, deploy, and manage scalable application and data infrastructure. • 3 years of professional experience managing or mentoring engineering teams, including recruiting, performance development, and fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement. • 2 years of professional experience using AI/ML-related programming frameworks and libraries (Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) to support data-driven applications or platform capabilities.
