Senior Engineering Manager, Workflows (FedRamp)

Okta is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Workflows Runtime to be a key leader defining the future of Identity Orchestration at Okta. The Okta Workflows team builds services and engine empowering customers to execute billions of workflows each day without writing a single line of code. This role leads multiple engineering teams responsible for building the entire Okta Workflows platform at high scale and performance. The position is FedRAMP-specific and requires US Person status. Based in Bellevue, WA (hybrid). Salary: $207,000–$285,000 USD.

• 8+ years of software development experience. • 3+ years of engineering management experience as a people manager. • Strong technical background leading teams building complex backend systems using Rust, GoLang, and messaging solutions. • Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) is highly desirable. • Demonstrated success collaborating with product and design counterparts to build and execute a long-term, customer-focused roadmap. • Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills with a passion for developing engineering talent at all levels. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a large, globally distributed organization. • This position requires US Person status (U.S. Citizen, National, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) due to federal environment access requirements.
