Software Engineer, Lua

As a member of Vercel's CDN Infrastructure team, you will help scale and improve services, availability and reliability. You'll help build and run Vercel's built-in CDN, powering framework-aware routing, caching, and high-performance traffic delivery. The role involves working with both proprietary infrastructure and cloud providers handling networking, TLS termination, routing, storage, and caching. Remote - United States. Salary: $196,000–$280,000 USD.

About You • 5+ years of experience with Lua • Knowledgeable and experienced with web servers and HTTP • Intrigued by tackling complex challenges serving petabytes of data and billions of requests • A collaborative team player • Keen to experiment, challenge norms, and deliver secure and reliable systems Bonus • Comfortable in Golang
