Senior Engineering Manager - Security Engineering

ClickHouse (Forbes Cloud 100, 3,000+ customers, $400M Series D) is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to build and run the new centralized Security Engineering function from the ground up. The manager will lead an existing Customer Identity engineering team, advocate for additional resources, and work in close partnership with Product Security, GRC, and broader engineering and product management leadership. • Proven experience building and managing engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and career development. • Track record of establishing new teams or functions — setting operating models, building culture, and creating accountability structures from scratch. • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority. • Strong hands-on background in security engineering or software engineering with a significant security focus. • Experience delivering security product features in cloud or SaaS environments — IAM, encryption, network security controls, or secure multi-tenancy. • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, and distributed systems. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs — defining roadmaps, managing dependencies, and delivering against commitments.
