Senior Engineering Manager, Acquisition

Brex is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for its Acquisition engineering group in San Francisco, focused on building systems and product experiences that power customer acquisition, activation, and retention. The role requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, technical leadership, and a passion for AI-enhanced customer journeys. Hybrid (Mon/Wed/Thu in-office). Salary: $300,000–$375,000.

• 3+ years of experience managing or leading multiple technical teams in a high-growth environment. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Strong technical background and understanding of software development principles. • Expertise leading full-stack engineering teams delivering end-to-end product experiences. • Demonstrated track record of shipping customer-facing features across multiple release cycles. • Experience building systems related to onboarding, implementation, identity, workflow automation, or customer lifecycle products. • Data-driven mindset with ability to evaluate impact and optimize activation metrics. • Track record building AI-powered product experiences, including LLM-driven automation and personalization.
