Senior Director of Engineering

Lattice is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead the Talent Engineering organization — spanning 50+ engineers and managers across a portfolio of customer-facing products including Performance Management, Engagement Surveys, and Goal Setting. The organization is at the forefront of Lattice's People + AI evolution, reimagining its talent management suite with AI-powered experiences. The Senior Director makes thoughtful tradeoffs across customer needs, product priorities, and engineering investment, and coaches and develops engineering managers and senior leaders. Remote US. Salary: $283,000–$354,000.

• 10+ years of engineering management experience, including at least 5 years leading an engineering organization composed of multiple teams and multiple layers of leadership. • Experience managing engineering investment across a portfolio of products and making thoughtful tradeoffs when resources are constrained. • A history of shipping high-quality products where quality, trust, reliability, and scalability are essential to customer success. • A high degree of autonomy, ownership, and sound judgment, with the ability to operate with a CEO mindset. • Demonstrated ability to develop engineering leaders, including both individual contributors and managers. • An eye for great products and the ability to work cross-functionally to effectively deliver them. • Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence decisions across Engineering, Product, Design, and company leadership. • Curiosity about AI and its potential to improve how organizations develop their people.
