Senior Engineering Manager - Clients Platform

Verkada ($5.8B valuation, 30,000+ customers, 100+ Fortune 500) is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for its Clients Platform team, responsible for the foundational architecture powering Verkada's 'Command' interface across all devices. The team owns the Design System, CI/CD pipelines, and modularization of Web and Mobile codebases. The manager will lead 15–20 engineers (including tech leads and managers). Onsite 5 days/week in San Mateo, CA. Salary: $220,000–$315,000 USD.

• 10+ years of experience in engineering management, specifically with experience managing other managers or leads. • You have previously led 'Platform,' 'Core,' or 'Infrastructure' teams where your primary customers were other engineers. • Extensive experience with React on the web and strong understanding of Native Mobile (Swift/Kotlin) ecosystems. • You have successfully led large-scale architectural shifts, such as moving from a monolith to a modularized architecture or implementing a company-wide Design System. • Excited by the challenge of 5-days-per-week onsite collaboration; thrives in a fast-paced environment balancing long-term technical health with immediate product needs. • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
